Howdy, all! Today I wanted to share a recipe that has been passed down to my mother for a delicious Spoon Bread. My wife goes nuts about this stuff, and I know that you all will enjoy it as well.
Not only is this super easy to make but would make a great addition to your holiday table this year and years to come. It is sweet, creamy and will surely become a favorite to your family as well. Of course, I am going to say that New River Mills Cornmeal is the choice that you should use when making this dish. We have a fine grind that is perfect for making cornbread and other recipes, with no trash.

Spoon Bread Recipe
2-Cups new River Mills Yellow Cornmeal
1/2 Cup Sugar
2-1/2-Cups boiling Water
In a large mixing-bowl mix all dry ingredients, then
Add boiling water (Be Careful) use a mixer and mix until smooth.
Then add 3-beaten eggs, butter, and milk, mix again.
Pour in a large cast iron skillet (Greased) and bake for 1-Hour and 15-mins @ 375-deg. Top must be browned.
It looks funky, it will be moist, let cool for 1/2-hour before cutting into it, Let me tell you something, its the best ever!
